Ādažu novada teritorijā atrodas dabas liegums "Lieluikas un Mazuikas ezers", kas tika izveidots, lai aizsargātu Latvijā ļoti retu ezeru tipu - oligotrofu ezeru ar Dortmaņa lobēlijas augsnēm un ļoti reti sastopamām un aizsargājamām ūdensaugu sugām. Dabas liegums ir Natura 2000 teritorija.
